Charity Dance Show

Arcadia High School’s Dance Department is hosting its annual Charity Dance Show live and in-person on Friday, December 9th, at 7:00pm in the Arcadia Performing Arts Center! This show features Beginning and Intermediate Dance students, as well as members of the Orchesis Dance Company. The show will also include guest performers from the Arcadia Community and Los Angeles Area. It is sure to be a night to remember with exhilarating performances of all dance styles.

This year, a portion of our proceeds will be going to the Malala Fund, an international, non-profit organization that supports girls' education. They advocate for resources and policy changes needed to give all girls a secondary education. The stated goal of the organization is to ensure 12 years of free, safe and quality education for every girl. Through the Education Champion Network, Malala Fund invests in the work of education advocates and activists who are challenging the policies and practices that prevent girls from going to school in their communities. Today, Malala Fund supports 52 Education Champions in 8 countries with the greatest need. Furthermore, Malala Fund launched Assembly, a digital publication that helps girls around the world share their stories. Since launching in 2013, this organization has raised over $47 million to improve education outcomes for more than 758,000 children around the world.

After spending hours practicing, the dancers could not be more thrilled to bring this performance to you. The night will be full of electrifying performances for all to enjoy. It has always been the Charity Show’s mission to give back to the community and inspire change through art and dance
